Post 7: Changes To My Study Programme.

Imagen
Hello professor and classmates! In this last blog I’m going to talk about some changes I would like to do to my study programme. First of all, I’m in my third year of Chemistry and Pharmacy in Universidad de Chile. Now, I would like to talk about the curriculum. I think that although it’s a lot of workload and that is a long (5 and a half years) and difficult career, but it’s not imposible. The subjects I have to study are in accordance with the entire labor field that the career has, they teach you a little bit of everything. In addition, there are elective subjects that you can take, but there isn’t one that I would like to learn about: Marketing or how to build a business, like my own pharmacy. I think that the use of technology facilitates everything, there are a lot of programs that we have to use. About the teaching methods I have nothing to say, the professors are really good at what they do, and I’m grateful to be able to learn a little from each one. Finally, talking a...

Post 6: Time travel to the future.

Imagen
Hello profesor and classmates! In this blog I’m going to talk about a time travel to the future. If I think in future, I definetly would go to year 3000, like the Jonas Brothers song haha and I would stay right here in Chile, because I really want to know how it would be the country and place where I live at that time. I imagine three big possibilities: 1. Living in a very futuristic way, where people are very conscious of the environment, no polution, flying cars, so much technology, robots everywhere, no discrimination, no wars, no poverty, and many other things. 2. Living like Wall-e movie, in a spaceship or more than one, just because of the climate change and polution. I imagine this is the most realistic possibility, cause today we are conscious of the environment but not at all, including me. I think this goes beyond us, the authorities (people with power, like big companies) should take more charge of the planet, which they don't. We must eliminate plastic in its...

Post 5: My future job.

Imagen
Hello professor and classmates! In this blog I’m going to talk about my future job. Well, I am a 3rd year student of Chemistry and Pharmacy and I imagine that my future job will be to have my own pharmacy called ‘’Doctora Botiqueen’’ hahaha. I want to create my own business, but not just for the money…. I really want to be close to people cause it makes me feel very good to help others. I imagine one day being attending and an old person came in to my pharmacy and I say: ‘’Hello sir, how is your hip?’’…. like that kind of close I mean. I also imagine that my business grows, and over the years have many pharmacies troughout Chile. I love to travel, but I think that if I travel, it won’t be because of my job, but who knows what destiny would hold for me haha. I would like to take a major related with marketing (for how to run my own pharmacy)   or something about dermocosmetics, I’m really interested to learn more about make up, skincare products or everything from that w...

Post 4: Childhood Series.

Imagen
Hello professor and classmates! In this post I’m going to talk about my childhood series, from when I was a little baby until I started my adolescence. When I was three to four years old my favourite program was Teletubbies. As soon as I woke up in the morning, the first thing I did was turn on the TV to watch them. My favourite character was Po, the red one, cause she was so cute and I loved red color. I remember a lot of series from Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network Channels, like Bob Squarepants, Scooby-Doo and the Powerpuff Girls, were my favourites. When I grew up a little more, maybe at twelve I was really obsessed with Disney Channel, and the best and my favourite program was Hannah Montana, a girl (Miley Stuart) who lived the best of both worlds. She was an ordinary girl, but when she put her blonde wig on, she was a superstar singer. I really loved that show, I had the first CD of it, and listened to it on my Sony Walkman. I also watched every day ‘’Zack y Cody: g...

Post 3: My pets.

Imagen
Hello professor and classmates! On April 10th of this year I got my first pet, his name is Ares, he is 8 months, and it’s the most beautiful cat in the world. I adopted him from a page in Facebook that is dedicated to giving in adoption cats, so I contacted the girl and we planned a meeting. Me and my sister went to the girl’s house to see all the kittys she had, and the first time we saw Ares, we knew he was the one, but wait…….at that day we call him ‘’Artemisa’’ cause we thought he was a female, until we went to the vet and told us that he was ‘’Artemiso’’, me and my sister couldn’t believe it!! So then we change his name to Ares. Ares has only two colors, black and white, got an enormous ears, and a very beautiful yellowish-green eyes. He’s so sweet, and playful. The importance that he has in my life is that he arrived in not the best moment to our family, so he bring us a lot of happiness and made us more unified.

Post 2: My best holidays ever!!

Imagen
Hello professor and classmates! My best holidays were in summer 2019, I went with my sister, parents and a marriage with their kids to Mexico, specifically to Cancún. We stayed for 8 days in a wonderful resort! One day we went to a park named Xcaret, it had more than 50 attractions sorrounded by jungle, the Caribbean Sea, typical Mexican dances and Mayan archaelogical areas, but the best thing far was the underground rivers! We swam in them for 600 meters, through fresh and crystalline waters from inside of the earth. We also saw fossilized coral formations on the rocks, it was impressive!                                               Another day, we went to the city of Cancún to visit some museums to learn more about Mayan history. The other days we stay at the resort enjoying the Caribean Sea, swimming pools, and food, I love buffets, cause whatever you want to eat, there...

Post 1: A country I would like to visit.

Imagen
Hello professor and classmates!  Travelling is important to me because it’s a fun way to learn about other cultures, people, and so many things. A country I would like to visit is Italy, because I’m really interested in their history, food and architecture.  Centuries ago, people in Italy were very guided by their beliefs, like the Roman gods in their temples. The Roman Colosseum and it’s religious backround is definitely a place I would like to go, it is an oval amphitheatre that people go to have fun. Something I would really like to do is to eat their pastas and pizzas recipes, because they are my favorite food in the world! Also try dishes like lasagna and risotto. I would like to experience a visit to the Roman Colosseum, Pisa tower and ‘‘Fontana di Trevi’’ too.              I would love to live there, because of the views and if I work there, I would put my own pharmacy downtown in any city of this country. Thanks for reading!
